The lyrics to Kelly Clarkson’s Christmas song “Underneath the Tree” are pretty dubious. She sings of her significant other being “underneath the tree” to ensure she is not “alone on Christmas day.” I wonder, when does a person ever place himself or herself underneath a Christmas tree…on purpose?
