a profoundly relevant meditation is a thought of pivotal importance – maybe a thought whose profound relevance is not realized at its inception – but nonetheless, crucial to one’s grasp on existence. Essentially, following this website will bring you a step closer to understanding humanity/life.
about…
matt

I am the progenitor and singular writer of this blog. I suffered a traumatic brain injury in a snowboarding accident on March 9, 2011. That event drastically changed my life. Recovering from my brain injury empowers me with rare wisdom. I often share this wisdom on my blog and that, among other reasons, is why you should read it regularly. I use my unique interpretation of a unique life to provide a unique narrative. Also, some of my entries are pretty funny.
the blog
This is a blog called “profoundly relevant meditations.” I created it in 2007. It essentially provides snapshots of my brain in the form of short writings and poems. As the homepage image states, the entries are insightful, inspirational, and inevitably funny. I do not focus the subject matter toward a specific population of people. That, to me, is the beauty of it. I cater my entries to no one in particular, but to any member of the human race. So, if you are anybody, this blog is for you.
The first entry I made for this blog is essentially an introduction to what it is:
i bid thee welcome, traveler on the journey for truth.
Long enough have I deprived the world of my profoundly relevant meditations. Unaware of the injustice perpetrated, I selfishly withheld my ideas, contemplations, realizations, epiphanies, and GOLD NUGGETS OF MENTAL SUBSTANCE from the public eye. Well, I refuse to continue this egregious offense any longer! The time has come to expose, in unadulterated nudity, my genius. Fortune has smiled on you, curious reader. You have not traveled in vain. Your journey for truth has reached its apex. You must search no longer. Please sit, relax, and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Eat the apple of honesty, indulge in the grapes of sincerity, drink from the cask of courage, enjoy the wine of wisdom, bathe in the bath of longevity, admire the flower of friendship, and dance with the gnomes of knowledge. The pieces presented before you will someday prove to be the most fruitful, significant, influential, and momentous revelations in the history of humankind.
the website
I imagine most of you never visit my website. If you have been to it before, you might think, “It just has links to buy his book (links I can find here) and a link back to this website! Why would I waste my time with that nonsense?!” But followers: no, no, no, NO!!! It has some exclusive photos, a really hip “about” section at the bottom of the page, and it is just cool. So, check out my website:

the book
So, putting together an anthology of the best stuff from this blog should be easy, right? You have all the material written already… piece of cake. No! You have to arrange the entries in a logical way that makes the book version of the blog special. Figuring that out and organizing it is difficult and time consuming. Plus, this blog is full of good stuff, so you will need pinpoint analytical skills to select which entries make the cut…
Yes, it was time consuming, and I arranged what I believe to be the best stuff from this website in a distinctive manner.
Go to either of the following two websites to buy it:
amazon – https://www.amazon.com/dp/1649902883/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=profoundly+relevant+meditations&qid=1605828937&sr=8-1

If you like this blog and want to read the best stuff from it, order the book. If you are unfamiliar with my blog and want to see what I have to offer, order the book. Also, if you think I am cool, want to see what my writing is like and/or want to support me, order the book. Or if you do not like me but like good writing, order the book. Basically, just order the book – you will be pleased.
