November 7th: we turn the clocks back an hour. We lose an hour of sunlight. Generally, people hate this.
…But we gain an hour of sleep. I was so relieved this morning when I woke an hour before my alarm went of. I looked at my digital clock, and thought “Why is my alarm not going off?!” I panicked for a few seconds and then realized, “Oh! We are supposed to turn the clocks back. I can sleep another hour.” Embracing this facet is a practice in looking at the positives.
