confusion clarified

Sometimes someone will look at me for a while, observe, and then smile and laugh.  Immediately after this happens, I think “Who do you think you are!?  You have some nerve: laughing at me…in my face!”  I then look down at my shirt-area and see a weird animal t-shirt…  “Oh, nice.  My shirt has the intended effect.”
